Melton Park is a 90 acre (36.4 hectare) development site which includes the grade II listed Old Hall (dating to the mid 1700’s), The Stables (formerly a restaurant and conference facility), The Forest School/nursery building and a range of other buildings. Beyond the built area is a large area of land to be developed out to create a sustainable development delivering a scheme of the highest achievable design and quality with the resultant boost to the local economy.
Mr Shaw Design were appointed to create a Brand Identity that plays homage to the heritage of this development and could be used across all visual communications. The Icon structure was created using inspiration from the architecture of the building. Likewise, with the colour palette we went with tones that had a nod to the past but represented the here and now. Secondary colours were also developed to identify the different areas within the Park.

WHAT THE CLIENT SAID
We entrust Mr Shaw Design with all our new development projects and they never fail to deliver. This particular project was a real mixed scheme with heritage builds so it had to fit in so many ways.
The brand fits perfectly and the site has really come to life.
